Description
The Hanna HI98319 is a specialized device for performing a digital salinity tester that can measure salinity up to 70.00 ppt. It is specially designed for saltwater aquariums. It provides results in parts per thousand (PPT), practical salinity units (PSU), or specific gravity (SG). This device uses an amperometric conductivity probe to accurately measure the salt content of water. It has a large LCD display for viewing readings and temperatures. It can be set to oC or oF for temperature display. It also has a battery level indicator displayed on startup to alert the user of the remaining battery power. It is set to 35.00 ppt in calibration dedicated mode and it recognizes the standard value so the meter will automatically accept and store the value when calibration stability is reached.
