How to measure Shoe Size

The biggest challenge in buying shoes online is determining the right size. In Bangladesh, shoes are available at affordable prices along with famous brands. However, shoe sizes vary according to brands. However, if you know the exact size of your feet, then this problem can be easily solved. So let's find out how to take the correct size of your feet at home by following a few simple steps.

What you need to take the size of your feet

• Take a piece of white paper that is larger than your feet
• A pencil or pen.
• A scale or measuring tape.
• Tape to stick the paper to the wall to prevent it from moving.

Steps to take the size of your shoes

Step-1: First, place the paper on a hard and flat floor. To prevent the paper from moving repeatedly, tape one end of the paper to the wall. This will prevent it from moving while measuring your feet and will make it easier to take the correct size.

Step-2: Since most of the time we wear socks with our shoes, put on socks before taking the size of your feet. Then the size of the foot will match the size of the inside of the shoe.

Step-3: Place your foot on the paper in such a way that the heel of your foot touches the wall. Then stand with your entire body weight on your foot. Then hold the pencil or pen straight and draw an outline or mark around your foot.

Step-4: In this step, you will remove your foot from the paper and measure the length and width of the mark or outline you drew with the help of a scale or measuring tape.

• Length: Measure from the tip of the longest toe to the end of the heel.
• Width: Measure the widest part of the foot.

Step-5: In the last step, take the size of the other foot in the same way. Because there may be some difference in the size of our two feet. Therefore, use the size of the foot that is larger when buying shoes.

Finally, write down the size of your shoe in centimeters or inches. So, when buying shoes from online or offline stores, you can easily choose the right shoe by comparing your foot size with their size chart.
