The next instruction of COVID-19 in performing Umrah Hajj

Hajj and Umrah were banned from entering Saudi Arabia from abroad for almost two years due to the global  COVID-19 epidemic. However, considering the current situation, Saudi Arabia has lifted the sanctions of many countries, including Bangladesh. The Saudi government has been in effect since 10th  August last month. However, the government of the country has given some instructions to the devout Muslims from abroad who are Omrah Hajj. They are: -

1. No worshipers can enter Saudi Arabia on direct flights from India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa and Lebanon. In this case, if any devotee from these countries is interested in performing Hajj or Umrah, then they have to enter a country other than these countries after completing the 14-day quarantine.

2. To perform Umrah from a foreign country, everyone must be vaccinated with the full dose of corona virus. If someone has taken a full dose of the Chinese-made Synoform vaccine, they must also take an additional booster dose of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

3. Only pilgrims can enter the country through an Umrah agency recognized by the Saudi Ministry.

4. All those who wish to perform Umrah must adhere to the health policy as well as to take measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus, such as wearing a full-time mask, adhering to social distances, and so on.

5. Only those over the age of 18 will be allowed to perform Umrah.
