Description
Phoenix Contact B+C Surge Protection (Type 1+2) is a surge protection device designed to protect electrical systems from transient overvoltage's caused by lightning or other power disturbances. This particular model provides surge protection in both directions with three connections from phase to neutral and one connection from neutral to ground. It has a high nominal discharge of 40kA (8/20)μs Imax and can withstand voltages up to 1.5kV. It also has a spark gap that can handle an impulse current of up to 50kA (10/350)μs Imax.
